Jack of all trades

You’ve probably heard the phrase: “Jack of all trades, master of none.” Most people use it as an insult. Like being good at many things… is somehow a bad thing. But here’s what they don’t tell you. That phrase isn’t complete. The full phrase actually says: “Jack of all trades, master of none… but oftentimes better than a master of one.” In other words— someone who can do many things adapt, learn, and solve problems… can be more valuable than someone who only knows one thing. So the next time someone says “Jack of all trades…” Just remember… The real phrase was never meant to be an insult.
